I subscribe to the Very Short List. Very short means one. It is just a daily email that highlights a movie, cd, etc that otherwise may have been overlooked. I actually find it one of the few things I look forward to reading daily.

Today they show the World Press photo of the year. As they put it:
"There you have it: a single image that depicts the Age of Britney and the Age of Terror."

Hello!

I am traveling to Biloxi with a group of volunteers from Seattle Works to help rebuild houses and do whatever needs doing in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.  I'll be there from January 6-14.

I've created a separate livejournal blog specifically for this trip.  Feel free to add noelleinbiloxi as a friend if you'd like updates.  FYI I don't plan to do any lj-cuts to that journal.  Most of my posts will be via blackberry while I am there.  I also plan to add a lot of links to pictures when I get back.
