Noelle's Thoughts
And so I ramble on... (and on and on and on and on)
"The Challenge was simple: Lose my virginity. More specifically, my Star Wars virginity. This was something I had held for so long that I had developed a sort of pride about it. It made me unique in this vast world of passionate and eccentric fans. Was now the time? Would I even be ready?"

I love Zach Braff, but this is funny:

Great blog entry giving you the 10 steps to making a zack braff film. Apparently its that easy - and visually this guy did a great job. [via NOTCOT]

Come see Office Space tonight at Cinema on the Lawn!

If you haven't been before, it is on the NW corner of Denny and Westlake, behind the Discovery Center.  Festivities start at 7:00, movie will start around 9:00.

There'll be a beer garden with Redhook, Mad Pizza, free popcorn and a free photo booth with an Office Space theme.

Bring your lowback lawn chairs and a suggested $5 donation (benefits KEXP and SIFF).  See you tonight!

You know what, I do want to express myself, okay. And I don't need 37 pieces of flair to do it.

The next Cinema on the Lawn is TOMORROW night! Come join us for Redhook beer, a photobooth, Mad Pizza, and free cotton candy!

I have never seen Xanadu - but I think this will be the perfect setting to see it.

Suggested $5 donation benefits SIFF and KEXP.  Seating starts at 7:00, show starts 30 minutes after dusk.

I suggest bringing an extra layer or two - that evening starts to get chilly, even after a few beers!

A $5 suggested donation benefits KEXP and SIFF.

List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your livejournal along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to.

1. Imogen Heap - Goodnight and Go
2. The Raconteurs - Broken Boy Soldiers
3. Madonna - Get Together
4. Zero 7 - Futures
5. Gnarls Barkley - Crazy
6. Gorillaz - Last Living Souls
7. LCD Soundsystem - Daft Punk is Playing at My House

Someone I know is running for congress!  I met Linnea through Seattle Works.  She has encouraged people to get involved in politics and now she is going to walk the walk.

But - politics shouldn't be a popularity contest, so see for yourself.

Moveon is working hard to gather signatures to keep teh intranets freezors:
Save the Internet
Congress is now pushing a law that would end the free and open Internet as we know it. Internet providers like AT&T and Verizon are lobbying Congress hard to gut Network Neutrality, the Internet's First Amendment and the key to Internet freedom. Net Neutrality prevents AT&T from choosing which websites open most easily for you based on which site pays AT&T more. So Amazon doesn't have to outbid Barnes & Noble for the right to work more properly on your computer.

Many members of Congress take campaign contributions from these companies, and they don't think the public are paying attention to this issue. Let's show them we care - please sign this petition today.
